SadaPay Pakistan: Free Mastercard, Account & How to Open

5 min read

SadaPay is a popular Pakistani digital neobank (an e-money institution) regulated by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) and registered with the SECP. It is known for a free Mastercard debit card, free Raast transfers and a clean app, and is especially popular with freelancers and young users. Here is how SadaPay's account, card, transfers and freelancer tools work, and how to open an account.

SadaPay Account and Mastercard

SadaPay gives you a mobile account and a Mastercard debit card for online and in-store payments, ATM withdrawals and international transactions. The standard virtual card is free; premium or custom physical cards may carry a one-time issuance fee. Check the latest fee schedule in the app.

Free Transfers and Raast

SadaPay integrates with Raast, Pakistan's instant payment system, so you can send and receive local bank transfers free of charge using your IBAN. Inbound and outbound transfers are instant and free — a main advantage over traditional banks.

SadaBiz for Freelancers

Through SadaBiz, freelancers and small businesses can generate payment links to accept international credit-card payments from clients. A processing fee applies (typically around 3% paid by the client and about 2% by the freelancer), making it convenient to receive foreign payments.

How to Open a SadaPay Account

Download the SadaPay app, enter your CNIC and details, and complete a quick biometric verification at a NADRA e-Sahulat center (the small verification fee is refunded). Once activated, order a physical card from within the app, delivered in a few working days.

SadaPay Support and Regulator

SadaPay support is available 24/7 through in-app chat or by email at support@sadapay.pk; its head office is at Ufone Tower, Blue Area, Islamabad. SadaPay is regulated by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) and registered with the SECP.
